For a home based solution, we will take impressions of your teeth and create a set of custom-made trays. We will then prescribe a peroxide-based bleaching gel. Based on the cause and severity of your stains, the doctor will decide how long each day you should wear the gel-filled trays. Typically, the total treatment time takes about a week to ten days.

Obtain a Brighter Smile in One Visit

For our in-office option, which works well for those who wish to obtain fast results and avoid tooth sensitivity, we will coat the teeth in a bleaching gel and activate it using a light. The surface stains are then removed from the teeth. The entire procedure takes under two hours.

How Do I Make Sure My New Results Last?

If you used the trays, you can always perform touch ups with the remaining gel. However, since teeth stains occur as a result of the food and drinks we consume, and our daily habits, they will form eventually. But if you maintain good oral hygiene you can often reduce the severity of discoloration and allow your new results to last. We recommend always brushing your teeth twice a day, flossing before going to bed, cutting back on drinks and food with dark pigments and/or a high sugar content, and finally, having your teeth cleaned twice a year.
