Should You Consider A Complete Smile Makeover?

When a patient avoids the dentist for a significant amount of time, cosmetic issues can pile up, leading to problems with the color, shape, and even alignment of the teeth. Fortunately, to address serious esthetic concerns, we can recommend a complete smile makeover. The makeover involves using a combination of treatments to improve the smile, meaning they can be extensive or conservative, depending the state of the patients smile. Do you have questions about our complete smile makeovers?

Frequently Asked Questions About Complete Smile Makeovers

Question: What if I have discoloration?

Answer: For most teeth stains we can recommend a whitening procedure. We may suggest our in-office option, in which we place a bleaching gel on the teeth and activate it using a special light, removing stains in one visit. We can also offer an at-home option. We give the patient a set of custom-made trays and a bleaching gel, which are used daily for about one to two hours over the course of a week to ten days.

Question: Can you address permanent stains?

Answer: In some cases, the stains may form below the enamel. These are known as permanent, or intrinsic stains, because they sometimes don’t respond well to traditional teeth whitening. Fortunately, we can mask them using either dental bonding, dental veneers, or a combination of the two.

Question: What can you do about misshapen teeth?

Answer: We have lifelike restorations to reshape the teeth, including ceramic crowns (which can be created and placed in a single visit), dental veneers (both traditional and minimal prep), and dental bonding.

Question: Can you correct misalignment or replace missing teeth?

Answer: Yes! For misalignment, we can recommend Invisalign. Using clear aligners, we can correct the smile without the use of metal braces. We can also use lifelike dental implants to replace missing teeth.
